Cape Town has some fabulous girls. We all know that. So, how about taking a closer look at some of the lesbian couples that live in our favourite city? From now on, Cape Town Lesbians will feature a couple each month. If you'd like to be one of these couples, please contact

A very special thanks to Jasmin and Siobhan for being our very first featured couple. These two amazing girls are the owners of Cape Town's trendy new lounge bar, Adam & Eve.
How did you meet?
At Work. Siobhan's Partime job was Jazz's full time job... and yes, it was lust at first sight.
How long have you been together?
We've been together 3 1/2 years, and married for 2 1/2 glorious years - the lesbian urge to merge happened sooner than we thought.
How Old are you?
Jasmin: Just turned 28 - I had to think there for a moment
Siobhan: Turning the big 30 in November
What are your star signs?
Jasmin: Cancerian
Siobhan: Cusp between Scorpio and Sagittarius
Where are you from?
Jasmin: Tottenham, London
Siobhan: Originally I'm from a tiny village in the Free State.
What is your favourite thing about each other?
Jasmin: Well, is this censored? Besides the obvious anatomical arrangement, I love the fact that she is as touchy feely as I am, and she is not sick of it after all these years :)
Siobhan: Her Ass... it's the first thing I noticed about her.... but honestly she makes me laugh and keeps me sane (which takes quite a lot, as i am n ot the most balanced person in the world)
What was the best date you've ever been on?
A unanimous answer: our second date. Our first one was a bit of a blur after 2 bottles of wine and a bottle of port. So we needed a re-take. After a lot of text flirting, Jazz came over to my place with Indian take aways, then jumped me.
What made you fall in love with each other?
Jasmin: Cleavage. Seriously - She always wants to save the world, she made me feel safe and wanted... and she is a good shag
Siobhan: Her Ass:) I felt safe and totally accepted and loved in her arms
What has been your biggest challenge as a couple?
Our first year was long distance, and that was probably the worst time.
Did you put out on the first date?
Absolutely... not that we can remember much due to the copius amounts of alcohol we consumed.
What do you do for a living?
We just opened up a bar - Adam & Eve in Napier street, Greenpoint.
If you two were stranded on an island, what would you want to take with?
Jasmin: My blender or my pressure cooker... can I take 2 things?
Siobhan: Ideally I would like to think I would pack something useful like matches, but who am I kidding - Knowing me, I probably would not take anything practical - something random like a hockey stick...
