There are 955,660 South African women on facebook. And 92,940 of them were brave enough to list on their profiles that they are interested in women. Hey, that's almost 10% of South African female Facebook users that are out and proud :-)
I discovered this while playing around with advertising targeting on Facebook.
To see this on Facebook, go to Applications -> Ads & Pages -> create an advert -> scroll down to “2. Targeting” -> enter the demographics that you want to see
