Great news! There is a brand new sexy, sensual, lesbian-run, lounge bar called Adam & Eve opening up in the heart of the pink block. (Where the Loft Lounge used to be). I've had a bit of a behind-the-scenes sneak preview, and I'm pretty sure it's going to be one of my favourite hangout spots. Life in Khayelitsha photography exhibition - Thursday 23 July
Nicole Safker is visting from the US, working on a documentary photography project in Khayelitsha documenting life in the townships.

Women's Day At Zula Sound Bar - Saturday 9 August
Another Ladyfest Fundraiser presents the awesome Wendy Oldfield. She'll be performing with her full band. Then follow with a surprise set. Their 3 Lady and Guitars is Elzahn Rinquest, the wonderful Tam, and Nuka. Comedian Nina Hastie will be the MC for the evening. And their Lady on Decks is the fabulous DJ FANI. Event will start early. Be there by 21h00.
